We provide our guests with upscale + clean studios, and we keep all of our products and services toxin-free. When it comes to nail salons, we’re pretty fabulous, but we don’t want to brag.
There has never been a better time to consider a beauty bar franchise with freecoat. Here’s the lowdown on what sets us apart from the competition:
fume-free
Our air is *fume-free* thanks to our medical-grade air filtration system, and we are dedicated to never offering fake nails/acrylics, which are a source of harmful fumes in traditional nail salons. Additionally, we will never use drills to remove DIP/SNS. The use of drills leaves toxic particles in the air you breathe, and no one wants that. We also feature custom, vented manicure tables to remove any exhaust or air funk for each of our guests.
toxin-free
Our beauty bar franchise studios use high-end, non-toxic products that are free from many of the chemicals found in traditional polishes (aka, 6-free or better). That means no petrochemicals, parabens, DPB, TPHP, toluene, camphor, xylene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, or animal products.
Some of our other toxin-free products include polish, our European 10-free gel coat, our made in-house organic sugar scrub (complementary with any full service), nail art, organic eco-paraffin alternative, Epsom salt detox, essential oils, and Celluma® LED light therapy (only in select locations).
jet-free
We’ve taken the guesswork out of getting a toxin-free pedicure. Traditional jetted tubs are impossible to get clean over time and can breed bacteria. Possible infections that could be lurking in a jetted foot tub include bacteria, fungi, and wart viruses, as well as paronychia infection (Source: HuffPost). EW! The pedi bowls used at our studios are jet-free, double disinfected after each use, and beautiful, duh!
yuck-free
All of our instruments and footbaths are double sanitized. Our stainless-steel instruments go through a timed disinfectant soak (30 minutes in barbicide, woo woo) and medical-grade autoclave to ensure proper sterilization. We will turn away guests with contraindications (fungus or infection) to keep our technicians and other guests safe.
Each guest at our studios is given brand new, one-time-use buffers and files, which they can keep, or we’ll get rid of for them after their visit. Since our studios opened, we’ve been on top of making sure each station is cleaned after each service.
With COVID-19, we’re making additional precautions to ensure all of our guests know that their visit is as safe as it can be. We follow state guidelines, so these restrictions will update and will vary by studio. These restrictions will be outlined and posted on the salon door. Manicures are performed behind a sneeze guard that’s cleaned after each visit, and our technicians wear gloves for the majority of each service. We offer disinfectant wipes throughout our studios and provide hand sanitizer upon request. Appointments are encouraged to help limit the amount of guests in the studio at one time.
